1. Information We Collect

DreamLooom collects only the minimum information necessary to provide its core functionality.

1.1 User-Provided Content

The App may collect the following content when you choose to use its features:

• Voice recordings created by the user to describe dreams
• Text transcriptions generated from those voice recordings
• Keywords extracted from transcribed text
• Images generated by the app based on extracted keywords
• Timestamps and basic metadata associated with each entry

All content is created explicitly by the user.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

DreamLooom does not collect the following types of information:

• Personal identification information (such as name, email address, or phone number)
• Location data
• Contacts
• Advertising identifiers
• Usage data for tracking or profiling purposes

3. Sensitive Personal Data – Face Data and Biometric Information

DreamLooom does not collect, process, store, transmit, or share any biometric information, including face data or facial recognition data.

Specifically:

• The App does not access the device camera for face detection, face imaging, facial analysis, or identification.
• The App does not perform facial recognition or analyze facial features.
• The App does not collect or generate biometric identifiers of any kind.
• No images of real people's faces are captured, analyzed, or stored by the App.
• No face-related data is uploaded to any server or shared with third parties.

Any images generated by the App are created from abstract keywords derived from user-provided text and are not used to identify real individuals.

4. How We Use Information

Collected information is used solely to provide the App's core features, including:

• Converting voice recordings into text
• Extracting keywords from text
• Generating illustrative images based on dream content
• Displaying and organizing dream logs for the user

The App does not use collected data for advertising, profiling, or analytics purposes.

5. Data Storage

All user data is stored in one or both of the following locations:

• On the user's device
• In the user's private iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit services

DreamLooom does not operate its own servers for storing user content.

6. Data Sharing

DreamLooom does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.

Data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.

7. Data Retention

User-created content is retained only as long as the user keeps it.

• Data remains on the device and/or in the user's iCloud account.
• Users may delete their data at any time by deleting entries or uninstalling the App.
• Once deleted, the data is permanently removed according to Apple's system behavior.

Since the App does not collect face data or biometric information, no such data is retained.

8. Security

DreamLooom relies on Apple's platform-level security features, including:

• iOS sandboxing
• Device encryption
• iCloud security and access controls

The App does not implement custom servers or external data processing pipelines.

9. Children's Privacy

DreamLooom does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

All data created within the App is user-generated content stored locally or in iCloud under the user's control.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.

Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
