What is DreamLooom?

DreamLooom is an iOS app that helps you record your dreams via voice, automatically transcribes them, extracts keywords using Apple Intelligence, and generates unique artwork based on your dreams.

How many dreams can I record per day?

DreamLooom allows one dream log per day. If you record multiple times in the same day, the new recording will replace the previous one.

How long can each recording be?

Each voice recording can be up to 60 seconds long.

Apple Intelligence

What is Apple Intelligence?

Apple Intelligence is Apple's on-device AI system. DreamLooom uses it to extract keywords from your transcribed dreams and generate images.

Is Apple Intelligence required?

Yes, Apple Intelligence is required for the full experience (keyword extraction and image generation). Voice recording and transcription work without it, but you won't get AI-generated artwork.

Which devices support Apple Intelligence?

Apple Intelligence is available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and later models. Check Apple's official documentation for the latest compatibility information.

Data & Privacy

Where is my data stored?

Your dream data is stored in your private iCloud account via CloudKit. The data syncs across your devices but is only accessible to you.

Is my data sent to external servers?

No. All processing (transcription, keyword extraction, image generation) happens on your device. Your data is never sent to external servers.

What happens if I delete the app?

Your data remains in iCloud. When you reinstall the app and sign in with the same Apple ID, your dream logs will be restored automatically.

How do I delete all my data?

You can delete all your data (including iCloud data) from the Settings screen within the app.

Technical

Does DreamLooom work offline?

Voice recording and transcription work offline. However, image generation and iCloud sync require an internet connection.

Can I regenerate the image?

Yes, you can regenerate the image from the detail view. The new image will replace the previous one.

Is iPad supported?

Currently, DreamLooom is designed for iPhone only. iPad support may be added in a future update.
